Julian Brown is an American influencer and innovator known for developing a prototype plastic-to-fuel conversion device called Plastoline. He is also working to turn pollution into a source of energy through his company called Naturejab.
Julian Brown was born in Tennessee, and hails from Atlanta. He began his work while still in high school, equipped only with welding certifications and without formal training as a scientist and an engineer, he taught himself the necessary skills and spent five years developing his microwave pyrolysis technology.He reportedly began experimenting with plastic-to-fuel technology as a teenager. Aside from experimenting, Brown also trained in martial arts for years as a child.
Career
Brown founded the startup Naturejab and ran experiments to scale up his Plastoline system. He showcased homemade prototypes via social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, earning over 1.3 million followers and millions of views.
He also launched a GoFundMe campaign aiming to raise $1 million to build a full‑scale Plastoline plant, although, as of late July 2025, the effort had collected just over $18,000.

I believe with the worldwide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
