WordPress Elementor Navigation Menu

A well-designed header navigation menu improves user experience and site navigation. With Elementor, you can create a custom header menu that matches your website’s style. Here’s how:

Create a Menu in WordPress

1️⃣ Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2️⃣ Go to Appearance > Menus.
3️⃣ Click “Create a new menu”, name it (e.g., “Main Menu”), and click Create Menu.
4️⃣ Add pages, posts, or custom links to the menu by selecting them and clicking Add to Menu.
5️⃣ Drag and drop menu items to arrange them, then click Save Menu.

Create a Custom Header with Elementor

1️⃣ Go to Templates > Theme Builder in your WordPress dashboard.
2️⃣ Click “Add New”, select Header, and name your template.
3️⃣ Click “Edit with Elementor” to open the drag-and-drop editor.

Design the Header and Add the Navigation Menu

1️⃣ Drag the “Nav Menu” widget into the header section.
2️⃣ Select the menu you created from the dropdown.
3️⃣ Customize the menu style—adjust fonts, colors, spacing, and hover effects.
4️⃣ Add a logo by dragging the “Image” widget and uploading your logo file.
5️⃣ (Optional) Add a search icon or button using Elementor widgets.

Publish and Apply the Header Site-Wide

1️⃣ Click Publish and choose “Entire Site” to apply the header across your website.
2️⃣ Click Save & Close, and your new Elementor header with a navigation menu is live!
